Scoring

A score of one stroke over par on a hole. For example, scoring 5 on a par-4 hole.

Explained Simply

For beginners, bogey golf is a perfectly respectable target. Shooting all bogeys on an 18-hole par-72 course gives you a score of 90, which many recreational golfers would be happy with.
