When we started playing golf, we found the same problem everywhere: every "review" was sponsored, every "top courses" list was paid for, and nothing was written for Europeans who are just getting started.
The Problem
The golf industry is a $82 billion market with a massive content problem. The big publications take manufacturer money. The course directories are booking platforms in disguise. And if you're a beginner in Europe looking for honest advice in your language? Good luck.
Our Approach
Three simple rules:
- We buy everything we review. No free products, no manufacturer relationships, no conflicts of interest. Every purchase comes with a receipt.
- Europe first. Prices in Euros, courses in Europe, availability you can actually buy. Not another American golf site with a few European pages.
- Beginner-honest. We rate everything from a beginner's perspective. Because you don't need to know which driver Tour pros use — you need to know which one won't make you hate golf.
